Introduction of our Ethical Management System

Throughout the world, ethical practice is increasingly being demanded of business enterprises, especially those that have a huge impact upon society and the economy. Social responsibilities of companies are being emphasized, while ethical and transparent management practices are currently being valued now than at any other time. Being keenly aware of this, SK C&C introduced new ethical management system on November 1, 2002. It is our sincerest hope to produce a sound and ethical management culture worthy of our customers and community.

Ethical Management Office

The Ethical Management Office of SK C&C is responsible for overseeing ethical business administration. It not only handles domestic and international public relations with regards to our ethical management system, but also monitors and evaluates the fulfillment of the ‘Code of Ethics’ and ‘Standards of Conduct’ within the company and develops the overall ethical law-abiding program to achieve effective operation of an ethical management system. Additionally, the Ethical Management Office also reviews reports regarding unethical conduct carried out both within and outside the company with its focus on finding solutions to any problems. The Ethical Management Office is fulfilling its role to uphold corporate ethics by preventing unethical behavior and activities through corporate ethical training.

Inquiry

The Ethical Management Office of SK C&C receives reports on ethical violations and formulates corrective measures. We will endeavor to incorporate any suggestions and comments presented to us by our customers and suppliers in conducting our ethical management operations.
